Poha Recipe

In this recipe I am going to show you how to make poha at home. Poha recipe is a famous Maharashtrian breakfast. It is a very simple, easy recipe and quick recipe. It also requires very less ingredients. Poha which is also called as flattened rice or beaten rice is the main ingredient of the recipe. It is one of my favourites and it is really tasty and will provide you more than enough energy to kick start your day. You can make it taste sweet as well if you like, just add sugar instead of red chilli powder in it.

Notes

Soaking the poha is kinda tricky part so don't over soak or under soak the poha. Soak the poha until it turns soft. To check it, continuously check flacks of the poha, press the poha flakes with your thumb and when it will easily break down, stop soaking. Some people like the sweet variety of poha recipe so if you want to try it then, dont add red chilli powder and add sugar when you add salt in this recipe. Don't add too much 1 tsp will be enough.
